The Centella asiatica plant belongs to the Umbelliferae family and is native throughout the tropics. Tiger grass is used in traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic medicine. Legend has it that wounded Bengal tigers roll in its leaves to stimulate wound healing. Hence the name "tiger grass." Its main active ingredients include polyphenols (caffeoylquinic acid derivatives), which have powerful antioxidant properties. Visible veins and redness are reduced, promoting a healthy and balanced complexion.
is extracted from the bark of the apothecary magnolia (Magnolia officinalis). This small tree, native to Asia, has been valued in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. The ingredients magnolol and honokiol have powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. They reduce redness and counteract so-called "inflamm-aging" – the skin changes caused by chronic micro-inflammations in mature skin.
is a natural liposomal active complex derived from the seed extract of the Chinese medicinal plant Bu Gu Zhi (Babchi), as well as from the leaves of the evergreen magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora) and willow bark (Salix alba). Herbapurifine® has been proven to balance sebum production, has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, reduces itching, and leaves the skin feeling pleasant.
It is cold-pressed from the nuts of the jojoba bush (Simmondsia chinensis) in the Mexican desert and is chemically a liquid wax. It penetrates the skin very quickly, does not go rancid, and has a deep penetration. It protects against dryness and keeps the skin smooth and supple.
is a colorless, odorless oily liquid derived from olive oil. Squalane, in its unsaturated form (squalene), is an essential component of the skin's natural hydrolipid film and is therefore particularly skin-friendly. We use the saturated form, which is resistant to oxidation and heat. Squalane has moisturizing properties, spreads easily, and provides a silky skin feel. Because of its rapid absorption, it acts as a guide for other active ingredients to penetrate the skin.
is a special amino acid. It is found in red algae and buckwheat, as well as in human skin. Arginine supports the regeneration of the skin's moisture-binding system and also has a soothing effect.
It is a component of the skin's own Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) and has an effective hydrating effect. It has excellent moisturizing properties while simultaneously stabilizing the skin's barrier function. We use plant-based glycerin.
improves the water-binding capacity of the skin and is also characterized by antimicrobial
Properties.
is an extract from the microalgae Chlorella vulgaris, which is cultivated in special cultures. Dermochlorella is a recognized source of vitamins, minerals, trace elements, and amino acids. The extract helps the skin maintain its natural balance and acts as a repair and vitality activator.
This unique active complex of marine origin combines three red sea algae: coral moss (Corallina officinalis), twisted starweed (Gigartina stellata), and elkhorn seamoss (Kappaphycus alvarezii). Twisted starweed and elkhorn seamoss provide valuable sulfated polysaccharides. The coral moss is rich in minerals, especially calcium. ALGYL® sustainably strengthens the regeneration and maintenance of an intact skin barrier. The skin's own immune system is optimized, and protection against free radicals is significantly improved. The result: Transepidermal water loss (TEWL) decreases, and the skin is protected and more resistant to negative external influences.
is a highly purified mixture of oligosaccharides. Many plants store inulin as a reserve substance, e.g., chicory, artichoke, dandelion, and parsnip. Inulin forms a pleasantly soft, nourishing film on the skin.
